About Me

A quick overview….
With a passion for the little things in life, a former ‘career’ as a pioneering patient, and a sassy spirit with just enough sweetness to get me by, I live by my self-created motto: when life kicks your ass, kick back.

You know you want more….
After suffering and recovering from a chronic, degenerative illness of eight years, I set out to discover the foundation of healing. What contributes to one person manifesting a disease or reaction to an event like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, while another person remains healthy? What will help ignite the body’s own mechanism for healing after the onset of injury or illness?

Through my own journey, I came to believe wholeheartedly that the biggest contributing factor to all disease, stems from energy disruptions in the body. I believe these disruptions arise from past traumas, unprocessed emotions, and damaging beliefs (viewing oneself as not deserving, good, able to be loved, etc.). The effects of stress are widely known to suppress and damage the immune system. While this concept may seem strange, it answers to the root cause of illness, unresolved injury, and psychological issues, where western medicine often has no explanation. By resolving these root causes, we can find emotional and physical relief.

What I keep busy with
I love writing, helping people really heal from all the emotional stuff holding them down, and teaching! I also have a compulsive need to devour information, which keeps me always on my toes. I’m so lucky to get to do what I love every day of my life.

I currently contribute to an international healthcare blog, have presented to several groups including the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford, completed Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Level 1 and 2 training, and have attended various energy practitioner-training programs.
